Coordinated by the da Vinci Days Community Art Committee, we feature our local talent along the Avenue of Imagination in an open air art installation.  All are invited to participate! Let your imagination run wild! There are no limits. Your project can be realistic or fantastic, big or small.

Everyone Can Participate

The Community Art project is free and open to all: adults and children, artists and aspiring artists, individuals, friends, families, clubs, businesses, and organizations. Download our guidelines to help you get started on your art adventure!

Take a Space Odyssey with Your Friends

Community art is fun to do as a group. Make a party of it with families, friends, or your club! It's a great way to bring out the da Vinci in everyone.

Dates to Remember

July 9: Registration deadline
July 16: Install your art, 9 am to 2 pm
July 18: Take home your art, 5 pm to 6 pm

Registration is free and easy!

Simply complete our on-line registration and you will receive set-up and take-down instructions prior to Festival week-end.

Rockets, Planets, Moons and More!

  • You can start with a plywood Rocket, Moon or Star (nominal fee), or a 10-inch cardboard circle (free), available at da Vinci Days Headquarters (568 SW Third Street).
  • or create something totally unique, using your own materials. Make a Martian or a wookie, a jet pack, a sun goddess, your sign of the zodiac, Haley's comet, or an Aztec calendar.
  • Stretch your imagination to infinity and beyond!

Community Art Display Location

Exhibit installation begins at 11th Street and Madison Avenue and continues east along the Avenue of Imagination, Madison Avenue to Central Park and The Arts Center.
