Who Can Participate
Open to all ages and all styles, forms, and subject matter
suitable for a family audience. Pre-register by Friday JULY 1
and receive FREE admission Sunday, July 22. Your
registration confirmation and ticket will be mailed to you the
first week of July.
Entry Requirement and Fees
The poetry must be your own work and peformed without props,
costumes, or music. A three-minute maximum applies. You must
have a Festival admission bracelet. Otherwise, there's no fee.
Judging, Awards, and Prizes
Judges will be selected from the audience and provided with
scoring guidelines and forms. Prizes and award certificates will be
given out for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in two age
categories: Youth and Adult (18+).
