The racer's mantra, "For the Glory!"

Start/End: 14th & Campus Way

Saturday: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

The Lemans start of the road race gives you a close-up view of the racers and their costumed pit crew and entourage. Once the race has started, festival attendees grab their own bikes and follow the course to the sand dune obstacle, at the Benton County Fairgrounds.

Race times

The clock for the Road Race starts when racers leave the starting line and arrive at the finish line. Time spent waiting for traffic clearance, traffic signals, etc, is the luck of the draw and added to overall time.  All racers must obey traffic rules with the exception of intersections closed by race officials.

Once racers reach the Sand Dune at the Benton County Fairgrounds, there is a maximum 10 minute time allowance for racers to climb the Dune, and then continue along the road race course.

The road race course officially closes at 5:00 pm on Saturday. Most teams (unless they have breakdown difficulties) return to the finish line between 3:30 and 4:30 pm.
