Geocaching @ da Vinci: Where you are the search engine!

Are you a sleuth at heart, techno-geek, a 21st century explorer, or just curious? Whether a seasoned geocacher or new to this GPS sport, welcome to the Festival's satellite-driven treasure hunt on Sunday. It's an event for all ages.

  • Start at the Geocaching @ da Vinci Booth located at N44° 33.952 W123° 16.322.
  • Sign up and participate in a competition with Novice and Experienced categories. All caches are located less than one (1) mile from the Geocaching Booth.
  • There are no fees but you do need to purchase a festival admission to participate.
  • Bring your own GPS unit or use a free Festival loaner (limited number available, credit-card deposit required).
  • Prizes are awarded Sunday at 4:30 pm at the Geocaching @ da Vinci Booth. Prizes are based on total points accumulated. You don't have to be present to win!

Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups, with a strong sense of community and support for the environment.
