The 2012 Film Festival will select one film for the Spirit of da Vinci Award. This $150 cash award will go to the film that best exemplifies the creativity and innovation of Leonardo da Vinci. The Committee's Choice Award will provide $150 to the film that best reflects the work of an emerging filmmaker.

All films selected for the da Vinci Film Festival will be in consideration for awards in their category. Best films will be selected for Animation, Experimental, Documentary, Narrative, and Young Filmmaker categories.
