Hip-hop is said to be the authentic music of the streets, and
that is no less true in Casablanca, Morocco, than anywhere else. In
this thoroughly charming and entertaining documentary, 17-year-old
Ayoub dreams of changing the world with the music he feels in his
heart. His youthful spirit inspires his father, Simohamed, a
parking attendant, to join him on his quest. Together, father and
son embark on a journey through the music industry of Casablanca in
search of a producer, studio time where they can lay down some
beats, and, God willing, a recording contract.
