Hildy, a comfortably middle-aged woman who enjoys her life, is shocked to learn that her mother has been hoarding pills in order to kill herself. Worse, her father has agreed to a suicide pact with her mother. Understandably hurt and confused by what she sees as their betrayal, Hildy must decide if she should try to interfere, or if she should respect her parents' decision. The film is based on a personal experience by Marlyn Mason, who wrote the screenplay and also stars as the extremely conflicted Hildy.
