Shakespeare's brutal game of thrones, Macbeth, is nothing compared to the bloodsport that is the competitive modern art scene. In this ambitious update, MacBeth becomes Mack, a competent though uninspired painter who yearns for the success and fame of a rival. When the rival dies, Mack finds a cache of unsold work which his vaulting ambition compels him to pass off as his own.
