For The Fun of It!
The Graand Kinetic Challenge 2026
Always the ThiRd Weekend in July
July 18-19 | Corvallis, OR

What is a Kinetic Sculpture Race?
Kinetic Sculptures are moving works of art, pedaled by human power over a rigorous, all-terrain, course by teams of fun-loving racers.

Meet the Racers
The teams consist of pilots, pit crew, and the entourage. Kinetic Pilots pedal the sculpture and steer, the pit crew assists the pilots in transforming the vehicle for the various elements and fixing mechanical issues, and the entourage is the loyal group of friends and family providing support and more fun to the teams.

da Vinci Days Presents
The Graand Kinetic Challenge
For the FUN of it!
Have you ever experienced the awe of human-powered, pedal-pushed, all-terrain, kinetic art sculpture vehicles racing over land, over sand, through the mud and floating the river?
The da Vinci Days’ Graand Kinetic Challenge (GKC) is a celebration of educational, artistic, scientific, and technological triumphs. This “you must see it to believe it” two-day spectacle showcases the sport of kinetic sculpture racing and sees teams take over 16 miles of Corvallis streets, bike paths, parks, and waterways, inviting spectators of all ages to cheer them on along the racecourse.
Since 1993, the Graand Kinetic Challenge has been held every third weekend in July. Join us in 2026 for the 33rd annual event on July 18th & 19th!
